SE Healthcare and IT indices are trading in red inspite of an upbeat day on Dalal Street.
Healthcare stock such as Cipla, Dr Reddy’s, Aurobindo Pharma and Lupin are among the top Nifty losers. Sun Pharma, Cipla, Dr Reddy’s are among the stocks which are heavily contributing to the BSE Healthcare losses.
At 11 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31197 up 141 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9623 up 35 points. A total of 47 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 25 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
There are 775 advances, 785 declines and 402 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting a flattish note in the market.
The BSE Mid cap Index is trading up 0.1% at 14835, while BSE Small cap Index is trading up 0.2% at 15702.
Some buying activity is seen in Oil & Gas, Power and Realty and Bankex, Auto, Telecom and Finance showing weakness on BSE.
Adani Ports, Bharti Infratel, Reliance, TCS, Indusind Bank and Bajaj Auto are among the gainers, whereas Cipla, Aurobindo Pharma, Lupin, Dr Reddy’s are losing on the NSE.
The INDIA VIX is down 1.1% at 10.
